I am a post doc at the Network Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory, part of the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech.

My research interests primarily concern the mathematical and computational modeling of infectious diseases, particularly healthcare-associated infections. Lately, I have also been working on modeling potential responses to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in West Africa, particularly the impact of improved healthcare infrastructure in Liberia.

I am particularly interested in the intersection of computational models and observational data as well as ways to visualize and quantify uncertainty in large-scale epidemiological simulations.
