Bio

Before arriving at Virginia Tech to work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Network Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory, I received my MSPH and PhD from the Department of Epidemiology at UNC Chapel Hill, studying under David Weber and working on mathematical models of healthcare-associated infections.

My undergraduate degree was in Biology from Tufts University in Boston, where I worked closely with Nina Fefferman and Elena Naumova at the Tufts University Initiative for the Modeling and Forecasting of Infectious Diseases (InForMID). A year of that coursework was split between Microbiology and Medieval History at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
